Emanuela's journey

Based in Laval, Quebec, just outside Montreal, Emanuela's path to becoming a tax expert was a global journey. Originally from Albania, she first came to Canada to study French—and quickly fell in love with the country. Inspired by our culture, diversity, and opportunities, she chose to stay and continue her education. Building on her master's degree in business administration, she pursued a degree in accounting here, allowing her to bridge international knowledge with the Canadian financial system.

Emanuela has spent several years preparing taxes for a wide range of customers, including individuals, families, self-employed professionals, and small business owners. She has spent the past 4 years with TurboTax Canada and has developed strong expertise in both straightforward filings and more complex tax situations, handling hundreds of returns throughout her career and navigating the differences in the Quebec tax system.

At TurboTax Canada, Emanuela has become known for her consistency and extraordinary customer service. Most recently, she served as a Senior Full-Time Expert, supporting a high number of customers while also being accurate and detailed.

That experience gives her a unique perspective, especially when working with newcomers. She understands first-hand what it's like to navigate a new country and a new tax system, and she brings empathy and clarity to every interaction.
