What is a T4 tax form?
If you are a salaried employee, the T4 tax slip is used by your employer to indicate what you have been paid before deductions, as well as your CPP, QPP, EI contributions as well as other amounts deducted from your pay cheque during the tax year.
When do employers send out the T4 tax slips?
They have to send them by February 28 at the latest. If you change jobs, make sure your former employer has a current address so he can send you a T4 slip.
