The Canada Revenue Agency’s My Account online portal offers both full-service and limited-service levels of access. Limited-service accounts can be created fully online and only allow you to view the status of your tax return, manage online mail, request remittance forms and view Notices of Assessment.
To protect your personal data, full-service accounts require a security code that is mailed to you by the CRA once you have set up your limited service account. Full-service accounts provide access to more detailed information with increased functionality.
Once you have created your full-service account, you can submit documents, make changes to your personal information online and view all of your balances, including carried forward tuition credits and RRSP limits. Payment dates and amounts for CCTB, UCCB, GST/HST benefits and WITB can also be viewed online with a full-service account.
