While filing taxes with TurboTax is often a seamless experience, sometimes you might encounter a rare technical glitch, particularly when it’s time to file. Here are some of the most common errors you might encounter when filing, what you need to know about them, and in many cases, some steps to resolve it. If you see one of the following error codes, it's due to a Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) issue affecting all tax software in Canada.

Customer action: In the interim, CRA has advised of a workaround for customers to enter 1 at line 21699 to allow the return to be accepted.

Expected resolution date: CRA expects that they will have this corrected by April 14, 2025.
