How does it work?

You need to speak to one of our care specialists, you will not have to sit and wait in line on the phone with Priority Customer Care. You will be provided with an alternative line to reach our team to assist you right away.

This team will assist you while you are completing your tax return, answer any questions you may have along the way; using our TurboTax exclusive SmartLook™  tool to connect with you if needed.

2. Audit Defence

This may be familiar to many of you already, as a long-standing add-on feature in TurboTax.

How does it work?

In the event that you are audited after submitting your taxes (because even accurate returns get audited sometimes), we have you covered. Our partner, Canada Tax Resources Inc., will act entirely on your behalf to defend your return to the CRA. This gives you the peace of mind that someone else is working hard to ensure that your tax situation is handled. With Audit Defence, our representatives will:

  • Work on your behalf to defend your return to the CRA
  • Handle and review all correspondence with the CRA
  • Review your tax return and related documents for problem areas

3. ID Protection

Identity Theft Monitoring

How does it work?

This feature is supported by our partner: IDnotify, an identity protection platform owned by Experian, a global leader in consumer and business credit reporting.  Following your initial scan and report, which happens after you file your taxes, IDnotify will continuously monitor your identity, alerting you of potential threats, and you receive monthly detection reports.
